- During the Covid19 pandemic, stores are forced to respect a certain number of people inside their space. People counting can help your business to enforce this requirement.

Our people counting system is based on an intelligent 3D camera(1) and a powerful Store Manager and Reporting software (2). This camera is installed at the entrance or exit and it sends counting data in real-time to the Store Manager software (3). All the devices are connected in an IT network( 2) and this information can be transmitted and monitored through the internet.

If the business area has multiple access entrances and exits, several People Counter devices can be tied together to cover multiple entrances. In that kind of setup, all of the cameras would share their running total whether or not people arrived or left the building via the main doors, a side hallway or a monitored employee entrance. Large entrances can also be covered using multiple people counters linked together. Each doorway can have different actions if needed, but they would all share the same overall person count to make those decisions.

A tablet, screen or information kiosk at the entrance will show the amount of people allowed to enter to the store (COVID-19 occupancy rules) and provide safety requirements (Mask, social distancing etc.)

By analyzing the statistics from Queue Monitor, you can review your service-cycle time and identify required improvements. Up to three queue thresholds can be set to prompt selected actions when exceeded.
